What are the methods of glass polishing？

Method 1: Fire polishing

Method 2: Polishing powder polishing
The use of high-speed rubbing of the polishing powder on the glass surface to remove scratches, hairs, etc. can greatly improve the light transmittance and refractive effect of the glass. Before polishing, first polish the polished area with abrasive belts. Pure planes should be polished with more than 400 mesh emery abrasive discs. This polishing method uses many tools and materials, but the effect is better with cerium oxide (common name: rare earth Polishing powder)

Disadvantage: slower
Method 3: Acid polishing
The surface treatment of glass using the acid's corrosive effect on the glass also requires sanding the surface of the glass before polishing, because acid polishing can reduce the thickness of the glass a lot, but it may not completely remove the glass texture. Its formula changes depending on the glass material. This method is extremely dangerous! Non-professionals and companies with complete equipment do not recommend personal testing.
Applicable material glass: any glass (but the effect of polishing is determined by the glass material itself)
Disadvantage: The smoothness is not controlled, and there is a certain loss of the water horn of the glass product.

BD wheel
