A first-time customer in the glass processing industry approached us through a general inquiry, looking to upgrade their manual sheet-loading station. What started as a single RFQ turned into a fully integrated lifting workstation — delivered and installed within 14 days.
The customer's loading station relied on two operators handling large glass sheets manually, using suction cups and manual tilting equipment. This process created three persistent problems:
Product damage. Manual handling led to frequent edge chipping, surface scratches, and occasional full-sheet breakage.
Workplace safety. Two-person lifting of 300+ kg panels created repetitive strain and pinch-point risks.
Fragmented solutions. Previous suppliers had quoted either a vacuum lifter or a crane in isolation, without ensuring the two systems could actually work together on the customer's floor.
What the customer needed was not an off-the-shelf product, but a matched, ready-to-use workstation tailored to their production layout.
We engineered a complete lifting system as a single integrated package:
6-cup vacuum lifter, designed with deep-vacuum holding power and 90° flip and 90° rotation, allowing a single operator to lift, tilt, and position large glass sheets safely.
Freestanding KBK-II crane system, configured with two 12 m tracks and a 6 m main beam, covering a 12 m × 6 m working area across the loading bay. The system bolts directly to the existing factory floor — no new foundation required.
Fully matched components. The lifter, crane, trolleys, and vacuum circuit were specified together, ensuring load ratings, headroom, and reach were compatible out of the box.
Export-grade packaging. The entire system was packed in a heavy-duty wooden crate to protect against transit damage.
