Vacuum cups are one of the actuators of vacuum equipment. The cup material is made of nitrile rubber, which has a very high tensile strength, thus they are widely used in various vacuum handling devices, such as in construction, papermaking industry, and printing, glass, etc., to achieve tasks like holding and transporting thin and light items such as glass and paper.
Vacuum cups are also known as vacuum lifting devices and vacuum nozzles. Generally speaking, using vacuum cups to handle products is a more cost-effective method. Vacuum cups come in various types; rubber-made cups can operate at high temperatures, silicone rubber-made cups are very suitable for gripping rough-surfaced products, and polyurethane-made cups are highly durable. In addition, in actual production, if the cups need to be oil-resistant, materials such as polyurethane, nitrile rubber, or vinyl-containing polymers can be considered for manufacturing the cups. Usually, to avoid scratching the surface of the product, it is recommended to choose cups with bellows made of nitrile rubber or silicone rubber.
